Anana Clark (affectionately called “The Water Lady” in various parts of Ghana) was raised in Watts, the inner city area of South Central Los Angeles, California, USA. Since relocating to Oakland, California nearly 40 years ago, she has been in the field as a teacher in both the spiritual and secular arena which has taken her several countries outside the US. She is the associate pastor at Friendship Christian Center as well as Director of TAY (Transition Age Youth) Programming at East Oakland Youth Development Center. Her personal quest for sharing the purpose of God through Jesus Christ and doing His work has taken her to various countries, particularly in Africa. Since 2015, Anana has been divinely guided to assist with clean water access within the rural areas of Ghana, West Africa. Currently, she has spearheaded the effort to bring clean water to rural communities in the Upper East Region of Ghana through The Borehole Project.

Jo Anne Birthwright lives in California, USA with her husband of 30 years. She is an Accounting Specialist for an international toy company. She has shared the gospel of Jesus Christ through a prophetic, evangelistic music and healing ministry for the last 40 years. Her missions outreach travels include the U.S., Africa, South America, Southern Asia, and Mexico.
Jo Anne has actively participated in The Borehole Project since its inception and firmly believes that, "Clean water access is the right of every human being. We must help the forgotten ones get what's due them".
As CEO of Skybest Multimedia Agency, Albert Kwasi Avor has served in diverse fields of operations in media companies such as Ghana Broadcasting Corporation, and as a security analyst for corporate and governmental entities for strategic debt recovery. Albert is also a Diaspora Community Activator, currently serving as the Logistics Coordinator in Ghana for The Borehole Project.
This is Albert’s resolve: “My intention for joining The Borehole Project is to use all my expertise and experience to render a smooth process-from the borehole construction planning to water pump installation-and assistance with any other projects that benefit the communities we serve. I am poised as a diaspora community leader to uplift Ghana through tourism, culture, tradition, heritage and God’s love.”.
Alesia Loree Agee is the First Lady and co-pastor of Friendship Christian Center (FCC) located in the beautiful heart of West Oakland, California, USA. As a teacher of the Word of God and gifted musical artist, God uses Lady Alesia Loree as a psalmist through the ministry of song by which the anointing soothes, calms and brings deliverance to many through the sweet melodic sound of her vocals.
Regarding The Borehole Project, Lady Alesia says, “I’m very humbled to see the Project moving forward, and it’s awesome to see it from the beginning stages.… and all the people that are out here making it happen.”
Rev. Clifford Gadafi Kasim is the founder and general overseer of the Initiators of Change Ministries in Ghana, Africa. He has a heart for people to receive basic needs so they know God has not forgotten them. To this end, the church has supported hundreds of families and entities in Ghana with food and clothing through the Cry Of The Unheard organization.
